IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT PARKSHORE, ASK SOMEONE WHO LIVES HERE.
Want to know why Parkshore is the best independent living community in Seattle? Ask our residents. “I’m still dazzled, after 3 years of enjoying the good life at Parkshore with the stunning view, wonderful food, friendly people and my beautiful apartment home I helped design! Because of our building size, not too large nor too small, I can call the residents and staff my friends. They are my Parkshore family. I especially am an advocate for our top-of-the-line Fitness Center. The personal training and classes keep me fit and energized to enjoy any other activities I choose. I continue to live an active and purposeful life, and couldn’t be happier!” – Kathy M.
“Location, location, location: in walkable and safe Madison Park on the shore of Lake Washington, Parkshore stands alone when considering a CCRC to call home.” – Bill W.
“I still remember my eldest son’s words after I had just moved-in, 1979: “Mom, we’re not going to worry about you, you’ve got it made!”. 2018: I still feel crazy lucky for my friends here and for the physical care and social enjoyment opportunities provided by Parkshore staff. Our lakeside location and panoramic views are amazing and I feel closely connected to nature here, especially the bird life. Our children’s park is across the street and we are a two block walk to the shopping village. Yes, we have “got it made” at Parkshore.” – Nancy B.
“Parkshore offers top of the line amenities and activities for active Senior Adults in beautiful, quiet and safe Madison Park. The $30+ million top-to-bottom renovation project is just the icing on the cake.” – Maria W.
“I recently spent 3 weeks in Parkshore’s Health Center. I want to thank and compliment the entire Parkshore Team for the care I received there. The entire group, while professional, was cheerful, friendly, upbeat and always there when I needed them. I am sure their care hastened my recovery time allowing me to return to my Parkshore apartment. They are a wonderful group.” – Bill K.
“I have sat on this gratitude too long not to finally address you all. How grateful I am as well as the residents of Parkshore for your attitude in general in conjunction with the big job you had to plan and execute this renovation of the kitchen and dining room.
By the Town Hall meetings you kept us informed of the present and were open to suggestions from the residents. We felt included in your decision and therefore more tolerant of change and adjustment.
You deserve a great deal of appreciation for keeping us happy with the food during this period of time and for some extra treats. You all have done a remarkable job and you all deserve a hearty thank you from us all. With gratitude,” – Loveta S.
“Thanks for making December such a pleasant month. The resident Christmas dinner was so pleasant. The decorations were so lovely. The food and drink at the New Years buffets were wonderful, and I especially enjoyed the pianist. Thanks to all of you.” – Natalie M.
